William Frank ‘Bill’ Arendall Jr.

William Frank “Bill” Arendall Jr., 68, of South Boston, died Monday, April 22, 2013 at his home. He was born in Halifax County on July 23, 1944, a son of the late William Frank Arendall, Sr. and Lillie Morgie Martin Arendall and was married to the late Betty Moore Arendall. He was a member of Freedom Worship Center.

He is survived by four daughters, Tamatha M. Arendall of South Boston, Mary F. Land and Henry of Roxboro, N.C., Shirley Moore and fiancé George Blaisdell of Graham, N.C., Renea Lawson and Matt of Chase City; one son, James Ferguson and Cameron of Roxboro, N.C., his fiancé, Lois Rose of South Boston; two sisters, Clarice Walker of Nathalie and Mary Brown and Bobby of Nathalie; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A funeral was held Wednesday, April 24, at 2 p.m. at Freedom Worship Center with Rev. Ricky Whitlow officiating. Burial followed in Liberty Christian Church Cemetery.
