Woodrow Linwood Harris, 78, of Chase City, died Monday, Sept. 4, 2017 at Chase City Health and Rehab Center. Mr. Harris was born in Mecklenburg County, on Feb. 4, 1939 to the late Charles Lee Harris Sr. and Marie Walker. He attended the schools of Mecklenburg County, and was previously employed by Lawson Jones and C&S Construction.

A memorial service was conducted on Friday, Sept. 8, at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Homes.
