A note of appreciation

Dear Viewpoint:

Appreciation to South Boston Police Department: Not forgetting our own police department of South Boston, falling short of remembering our own police department of our town, putting their lives in danger for the citizens of South Boston. Naming some I know. Icon-chief, Jim Binner, Chief, Officer, Gentleman; Icon-Randy Redd, detective, officer, gentleman; Icon-Matt Gilliam, Sgt., Officer, Gentleman, others, but not by name. Keep up the good job. Want to say thank you to all officers today and always while you have the chance to read this. You all do put your lives in danger for citizens of South Boston. Cannot leave out Paula Murray, animal control officer, for a great job. “Officer & Lady” Icon.

Thank you may God bless you all!
