The Park View girls volleyball team hosted a “Blackout for Bree” night on Tuesday, Sept. 12 in memory of Briana Bugg, a 17-year-old Park View senior and volleyball standout who was killed in a Sept. 2 car crash in North Carolina. Her Park View teammates sported purple ribbons in their hair — one of Briana’s favorite colors — while the opponent, the Southampton Lady Indians, wore green ribbons as a show of support for the rival Lady Dragons.
