Duke opens ACC play with win

Senior guard Nolan Smith scored a season-high 28 points, Andre Dawkins chipped in with 16 and top-ranked Duke (13-0, 1-0 ACC) weathered the Hurricanes (11-4, 0-1) Sunday night from Cameron Indoor Stadium, 74-63.
