The South Hill Dixie Ponytails, ages 11-12, were the guests of honor at the monthly meeting of South Hill Town Council on Monday night. Council presented a resolution honoring the Ponytails, who represented South Hll in the Dixie Youth Softball World Series in South Carolina earlier this summer, finishing as runners-up out of a field of 11 teams from across the Southeast.
