Diamond Fever 14U win IFA Summer World Series championship

The Diamond Fever 14U Fastpitch Sofball Team won the IFA Summer World Series Championship held in Burlington, N.C., July 28 - 31.  From left, first row, Kimmie Meadows, Bekah Burner, Peyton Myers, and Courtney Yarbrough.  Second row, Jamie Woods, Holly Eckard, Kelsey Meadows, Megan Puckett, Miyanna Ross, Courtney Smithers, and Kasey Wallace.  Third row, assistant coach, Randy Yarbrough, head coach Russell Eckard, and assistant coach Brian Meadows. Not pictured Alyssa Horton.  Fever went 6-1 in bracket play, defeating West Chatham Bears in the championsip game 4-3 and the IF game 4-2.
