Winless William Fleming had no answers for the Halifax County High School varsity volleyball team Tuesday night.

Spencer, Puryear earn trip state tournament

The Halifax County High School golf team had a successful season, as the Comets posted a respectable sixth place finish in the state. Two Comets, Cody Spencer and Dillon Puryear, advanced to next week’s Group AAA state tournament in Suffolk.
