Restaurant pitches in to assist South Hill Dixie Youth softball

Applebee’s in South Hill is remodeling and supporting South Hill Dixie Softball — part of a renovation in which the restaurant will take down the wall memorabilia and replace it with contemporary artwork and large graphic murals.

Southampton edged Bluestone, 2-1, in varsity baseball action on Tuesday, March 22. Two days later, on Thursday, the varsity boys traveled to Greensville and lost to the Eagles, 13-3.
