The Park View High School boys basketball team fell Friday night to Brunswick High School 66-35 in the Southside District finals, played in Lawrenceville. The Bulldogs will enter the Region 1 Division 3 playoffs as the number one seed, while Park View's season also continues as the Dragons are a probable #5 seed in the eight-team regional playoff. Also advancing to regional play from the Southside District are Southampton and Greensville. While the championship game didn't go well for Park View, the Dragons can celebrate the selection of four players to the Southside All-District team, announced after the game. Sophomore Kaleb Johnson made the first team, Letazorius Patterson and James Brown made the second team, and Noo Noo Smith was an Honorable Mention selection.
