CMH Foundation golf classic raises $16,000

CMH Foundation held it’s 16th Annual Golf Classic on May 10. Over $16,000 was raised to benefit the purchase of an infant ventilator for CMH’s newborn nursery. Proceeds will also benefit The Pharmacy Connection, CMH’s medication assistance program. Community Memorial Healthcenter is fortunate to receive wonderful support from the community it serves, and CMH is very appreciative of this support.

Bagbey named South Region POY

Sophomore Justin Bagbey has another honor to add to his growing list of athletic achievements this year after being named the NCCAA South Region Player of the Year for baseball. Bagbey was named this year’s CIAA Baseball Player of the Year in April after turning in a solid sophomore season. He led the league in homeruns (13) this season and hit at a .437 clip.
