The HCHS varsity volleyball team started well against district rival Franklin County, but the Comets could not sustain the effort against the Eagles Tuesday night. Halifax (7-5, 0-1) opened with a win against the Eagles, but then lost the next three games as FCHS sealed the district win.

Lions pick up win over Park View

The Halifax County Middle School football team improved to 6-0 after a 22-0 win at Park View Middle School Thursday.
