The HCHS varsity girls’ soccer program is likely looking at a rebuilding campaign, although there is some significant talent returning this spring. Illness has also hampered the preparations.

HCHS jayvee girls’ soccer head coach Jessica Hayes has work ahead to assess her squad, although she expressed optimism about the skill level. “We really don’t have the numbers this year, but we do have a lot of kids with a lot of skill,” said Hayes Monday.

Boys soccer fall in first scrimmage

The Halifax County boys varsity Soccer team was defeated by Heritage last night in their first scrimmage of the year.
