Comets win district opener

The HCHS varsity baseball team had a laugher over William Fleming Tuesday. The Comets rolled in their district opener, 18-0, as Tyler Lewis got the win with four innings of work. Lewis fanned eight, walked five and did not allow a hit.

The HCHS varsity girls’ soccer downed William Fleming, 3-0, in the district opener at home Tuesday night. HCHS improved to 5-0, 1-0 in the Western Valley District.

Comet soccer 1-4 after 8-0 loss to Fleming

The HCHS boys’ soccer team is 1-4 overall after an 8-0 loss to William Fleming in Roanoke.
