After rainouts, Baron teams look to get back on postseason track
SoVaNow.com / May 22, 2013Bluestone spring sports teams face a busy postseason schedule this week.
Rain forced postponement of several events Monday. The Barons were scheduled, weather and playing field conditions permitting, to resume Tuesday.
Here’s the playoff slate:
Bluestone baseball, ranked fifth in the James River District, was set to travel to #4 Buckingham on Tuesday afternoon for the quarterfinal game of the JRD tournament at 5:00 p.m.
Bluestone softball was set to host host Amelia yesterday at 5:30 p.m. in the quarterfinal game of the JRD tournament. The Tuesday game was a make-up from Monday’s rainout.
Bluestone girls soccer was set to host Nottoway at 6:00 p.m. in the quarterfinal match of the JRD tournament Tuesday.
Bluestone boys soccer was set to host Nottoway following the girls match at approximately 7:30 p.m.
