Baisch to play in allstar football game / May 30, 2013
Chris Baisch, the Comets’ talented lineman who is headed to play college football at Shepherd, is also slated to play in a prestigious summer all-star game.

Comet football coach Mike Roark said Monday Baisch will play in the Virginia High School coaches association all-state football bash in Hampton in mid-July.

Baisch will play nose tackle.

Roark said this is good experience for Baisch. “It’s a fun experience playing in the all-star game.

Baisch is headed to play football at Shepherd University, a liberal arts school in Shepherdstown, W. Va.

He is the second Comet headed to the VHSL all-star weekend.

Softball standout Meg Bane will also play in the all-star game.
