Baron girls rally to defeat Nottoway / September 19, 2012
The Bluestone varsity girls bounced back after losing the first game to score a 3-1 match victory over Nottoway last Monday in James River District volleyball action in Skipwith.

It was the district opener for the Lady Barons, who improved to 4-1 on the season. Bluestone dropped the opening game, 23-25, but came back to trounce the Lady Cougars in the next three games, 25-11, 25-18 and 25-11.

The Lady Baron jayvee girls also won their contest, downing the Nottoway jayvees in three games, 25-15, 24-26 and 15-12.

The girls were scheduled to play Goochland on Wednesday, but that match has been rescheduled to Thursday, Sept. 27 at Goochland.
