The Bluestone Barons varsity baseball team landed again in the “L” column after dropping decisions to James River District opponents Goochland and Randolph-Henry last week.

Bluestone was no match for Goochland, losing at home 12-0. But the Barons showed that they can compete in the one-run loss, 11-10, to R-H.

In the R-H game, Bluestone entered the final inning down five runs. The Barons scored four runs and had the tying run on second. R-H was able to hold the runner and record the win.

The Barons hope to bounce back and get into winning form after the spring break.
