Barons topple Buckingham, 6-4 on strength of early offense / May 22, 2013
Bluestone slipped past Buckingham 6-4 in a well-played district game in Skipwith on May 16, highlighted by Senior Night recgnitions.

The Barons got the job done with early offense, scoring three runs in the bottom of the first, and adding two more in their half of the second.

Buckingham notched one run in its half of the first and added three in the fifth.

Bluestone got an insurance run in its half of the fifth.

The key offensive contributions for the Barons came early. Deion Mosley slammed a two-run triple and Javon Smith followed with an RBI sacrifice fly in the Bluestone first.

Kevin Murphy also swung a hot bat for the Barons, getting a RBI single and a run-scoring triple.
