Bluestone girls knocked out of region playoffs by Chatham
SoVaNow.com / February 27, 2013The Lady Barons of Bluestone enjoyed a one-game appearance in the Region B, Division 2 postseason tournament last week as the girls lost to the Chatham High School Lady Cavaliers, 65-40.
The Bluestone girls traveled to Chatham as the fifth-seeded team in the eight-team field, but Chatham, the number four seed, made sure the road ended there for their guests. Juliyuah Giggetts was unstoppable for the Lady Cavaliers, scoring 21 points as the host team won comfortably.
The loss ended the season for the Bluestone girls.
