Bluestone hits its stride with three games on tap

SoVaNow.com / April 24, 2019

The Bluestone varsity softball team gets back to work this week with three James River District match-ups after a pause in the action last week for Spring Break.

Bluestone (3-4-1) was set to play Prince Edward in Skipwith yesterday. The girls play at home again on Thursday versus Amelia and wrap up the week with a visit to Randolph-Henry on Friday.

Bluestone defeated PE 3-0 in a road game this season but took a 12-0 road loss at Amelia. The team’s tie game came at Bluestone against R-H when at the top of the fourth inning, knotted at 3-3 the game was stopped due to darkness. Completion of the R-H game is TBD.
