Bluestone sweeps Park View to end season play

The Bluestone girls soccer team concluded regular season last week by defeating cross-county rival Park View 5-0 and claiming the season sweep.

Saadyah Shamburger scored 11:04 into the first half off an assist from Emma Strider. April Newton scored 23:25 in, on an assist by Shamburger.

Shamburger hit net again at the 35:28 mark, Ann-Taylor Williamson providing the assist. Shamburger scored once more at the 36:37 mark with an assist from Jasmine Brown completing her second “Hat Trick” of the season.

Bluestone led 4-0 at halftime. Keely Downey scored the Lady Barons’ final goal 26:14 into the second half for the 5-0 win.
