Bluestone two James River District games / May 17, 2017

The Bluestone varsity baseball team recorded two James River District losses over the past week.

Bluestone fell to Goochland 15-0 and at home to Central-Lunenburg 12-1. Even with the losses, other JRD teams didn’t fare so well either in the week’s play.

That said, Bluestone moved to the fifth position in the district standings. The four teams holding the top spots are Randolph-Henry (12-1), Goochland (11-3), Amelia (11-3) and Central Lunenburg (11-4).

Bluestone has three games remaining on the schedule, one of which was played last night against Goochland.

The team plays Randolph-Henry on Wednesday and Amelia on Thursday; both are home games.
