Bluestone volleyball hits court with two scrimmages this week / August 11, 2021

Bluestone varsity and jayvee volleyball teams will participate in two scrimmages this week as regular season competition approaches.

Both the varsity and jayvee contests will feature Vance County High School (North Carolina) as the opponent. Bluestone was scheduled to travel to Vance yesterday. The Barons will host Vance on Thursday with a 5:30 p.m. start for the jayvees, followed by the varsity at 7 p.m.

These are the only scrimmage games posted to the website for Bluestone before regular season play begins on Aug. 25 with the locals hosting Greensville County. On Sept. 2 the girls travel to Brunswick High School.

After a rematch with Greensville in Emporia on Sept. 8, the Lady Barons start James River District competition on the road at Amelia County High School Sept. 9.
