Bluestone’s Csorba places 10th at Region 2-A meet / November 08, 2017
After placing fourth in the James River District cross country tournament, Bluestone High School runner Frank Csorba placed 10th at the Region 2-A meet held last week in Mechanicsville.

Csorba competed against more than 90 student-athletes runners in claiming the top-10 finish with a time of 18:10.0.

Clint Gault of Poquoson ran a 16:20.0 to claim the 2-A Region East top spot. Maggie Walker placed five runners in the top 10 and dominated the meet, winning with an average time of 17:28 for the team’s top five runners.

This is the second year in a row that Csorba has qualified for the state meet. The VHSL 2-A Cross Country state championships take place at The Great Meadow Foundation in The Plains. The 2A boys’ race begins Saturday at 11:15 a.m.
