BMS golfers drop opener to Central Charlotte / August 09, 2017
The Bluestone Middle School golf team took to the links on Monday to open the 2017 season and dropped a 207-210 decision to Central of Charlotte.

Devin Farrar and Cameron Shriver led the Trojans, posting scores of 49. Garrett Allgood fired a 54 and Taylor Seamens finished with a 58. Allgood also had about a 60 foot chip shot that he was able to put in the hole.

Central Charlotte’s Sully Jones and Ben Gibbs posted their team’s low individual scores, each swinging a 51. Close behind were Thomas Johnson (52) and Bryson Francisco (53).

Trojan coach Josh Allen said he was very happy with the way his starters and alternates played on the day.

Bluestone’s next match takes place on Aug. 7 at Amelia. Match time is 4 p.m.
