The first week of the South Boston Recreation Department Business and Industrial league saw Dollar General, Italian Delight, Aquatics and Benchmark post wins.

Dollar General 47, Goodyear 42

Here are the leading scorers for the winners: Sherman Logan (19 points (5 2-pointers, 3 3-pointers; Demetre Faulkner (11 points (4 2-pointers, 1 3-pointers.)

Here are the leaders for Goodyear: Tieron Russell (7 points (4 2-pointers, 2 3-pointers; Kaidarius Ferrell (10 points (4 2-pointers, 2 of 4 from free throw line.)

Aquatics 46, Presto 37

Here are the leading scorers for the winning squad: Trelanne Johnson (20 points (8 2-pointers, 0 3-pointers, 4 of 7 from free throw line; Bryan Lambert (10 points (5 2-pointers, 0 of 2 from free throw line; Donte Boyd (9 points (3 2-pointers, 1 3-pointer, 0 of 1 from free throw.

Presto got 21 from Datwann Canada (3 2-pointers, 5 3-pointers); and more support from Tauron Brown (5 points (1 2-pointer, 1 3-pointers.

Benchmark 73, 
Eaton 49

Benchmark rolled to the win behind Justin Saunders (19 points (2 2-pointers, 5 3-pointers) and Michael Nelson (15 points (5 2-pointers, 1 3-pointer, 2 of 2 from free throw line.

Eaton relied on Michael Hatcher (18 points (3 2-pointers, 4 3-pointers) and Dewayne Wilson (10 points (4 2-pointers, 2 of 3 from free throw line).

Tvilum/Sentara 67, AWNC II 44

Tevin Edmonds (29 points (4 2-pointers, 6 3-pointers, 3 of 3 from free throw line led the winners. Jonathan Smalls had 19.

AWNC II got 44 points, led by 19 from Coy Talley.

AWNC 1 46, ABB 36

The winners got 14 from Terrance Calloway, while the losing team had 14 from Tysean Dunkley.

Italian Delight, 47 Polywood 31

Italian Delight got 13 from Robert Perkins. Polywood got nine from Willie Hughes.
