Sports Clarksville Dixie Youth holds signupsSoVaNow.com / February 03, 2021
Clarksville Dixie Youth baseball and softball may not have hosted any play last year due to the coronavirus, but local ball players will be happy to know that the league is planning on holding a 2021 season and is accepting signups. Board member Jeanie Jones said in preparation for the season, the organization will be readying ballfields. Clarksville Dixie will also be holding fund raisers to assist with upgrades. “The board will have several updates and exciting news in the coming weeks,” Jones said. “We are planning several fund raisers to improve the ballpark so it will be ready when this COVID pandemic lifts.” The organization supports sports programs for young athletes, ages 4-18. Anyone wanting to take part in the league is asked to register online. Visit https://clubs.bluesombrero.com/Default.aspx?tabid=581673 to sign up and for more information.
