Comet jayvee softball ends productive season / May 16, 2019
The Halifax County High School jayvee softball team routed Magna Vista in doubleheader action to finish its season.

Halifax swept the Warriors aside, winning the first game 16-1 and the second, 13-1, Thursday in Ridgeway.

Halifax celebrated a very productive offensive showing in its final diamond duty this spring. Meanwhile, Magna Vista managed one run apiece in each game.

Leadoff hitter Sarah Watts had four runs scored in two games, with three RBI and four hits.

Kayla Spencer scored four runs, with one RBI. Bailey Bowen slapped a two-run homer and also scored three runs.

Kylie Satterfield scored four runs, with two RBI and two hits and a walk. Greysen Terry scored twice. Arissa Conner scored four times.

Savi Bailey had two runs scored, with an RBI.
