Halifax County High School jayvee volleyball lost to Gretna at home Wednesday, 2-0. The Hawks prevailed, 25-22 and 25-18.

Halifax contributors included service point leaders: Ashlyn Strickland-5, Jadyn Harlow-4 and Arissa Conner-7 with 2 of those being aces.

Tessy Henderson had 5 kills, Shamya Hankins had 2 kills and Arissa Conner, Kate Jackson, Katie Reaves and Jadyn Harlow each had 1 kill.

Arissa Conner and Ashlyn Strickland each had three set assists.

Shamya Hankins had 1 solos block.
