Halifax County High School varsity volleyball lost in three sets to Piedmont District opponent Magna Vista, 25-17, 25-23 and 25-14.

Halifax is 0-3 on the season.

Sarah Watts had eight points off service, with 11 attempts for hitting, with four kills. She had five digs.

Kendall Foushee had 12 good serves, serving seven points. She had 26 good sets.

Trinity Martin had two blocks. Kylie Satterfield had the the libero position. She had her best defensive game Tuesday, with seven digs.

JAYVEE REPORT: The jayvees dropped two very competitive sets to Magna Vista on the road Tuesday.

Magna Vista prevailed, 25-23, in a two-set victory.

Ashlyn Strickland had nine points with three aces. Jadyn Harlow had seven points with two aces. Kate Jackson had two aces. Shamya Hankins recorded one ace.

Strickland, Katie Reaves, Sarah Vernon, Tessy Henderson, Shamya Hankins all had one kill. T. Henderson had three solo blocks. Arissa Conner, Katie Reaves and Shamya Hankins had one dig apiece and Jadyn Harlow had two digs.
