Halifax County High School varsity volleyball delivered a strong performance against Martinsville in home district action Tuesday.

The Comets won in 3 sets, 25-10, 25-10, 25-17.

Service stats:

Kendall Foushee - 14 good serves, 3 aces, scoring 10 points Trinity Martin with 10 good serves, 3 aces, scoring 8 points Arissa Conner (just up from JV)- 10 good serves, 3 aces, scoring 7 points.

Attack stats:

Sarah Watts: 15 attack attempts with 5 kills Kirsten Wellons: 18 attack attempts with 4 kills Bailey Bowen: 5 attack attempts with 3 kills Sets:

Great setting from all three setters tonight - Sarah Watts had nine good sets with four assists, Madison Barnes had 12 good sets with two attempts, and Kendall Foushee had 12 good sets with two assists.


Excellent passing from Trinity Martin with 11 digs and Kylie Satterfield with eight digs.
