Comets earns all-district honors / February 24, 2009
Six Comets earned all-district recognition for the HCHS varsity boys' basketball program.
Although Halifax had no first-team performers, Kejuan Mayo and Durrell Chandler earned second team all-WVD recognition for Halifax, which finished 9-13 overall this season.
Four Comets - Lemel Adams, Deshon Dabbs, Keon Gutrich and Russell White - earned honorable mention recognition.
William Fleming won the boys' tournament title with a 48-45 win over GW-Danville.
