Comets fall to Appomattox

The Halifax County High School varsity volleyball team traveled to Patrick County Wednesday for more Piedmont District action.

On Tuesday, Halifax fell to Appomattox, 3-0.

The Comets lost 25-20, 25-18 and 25-20. Halifax is now 1-6.

Kendall Foushee and Sarah Watts provided very good serving for the Comets.

Madison Barnes and Foushee had 30 sets each.

Kristen Wellons sparked Halifax with solid offense with 15 hitting attempts, with five kills. Bailey Bowen had five kills.
