Comets fall to Park View

SoVaNow.com / April 24, 2014
Park View’s varsity baseball team dealt the Halifax County High School varsity a 10-8 loss Tuesday night in South Hill.

HCHS had a strong hitting effort. But the Dragons managed to connect with key hits at the right time, with runners on. The loss dropped the Comets to 7-3.

HCHS started with Colby Grissom on the mound, and then brought on Chase Wilkerson.

Grissom did not have his best performance Tuesday, but still pitched well at times.

Park View had a better day than HCHS offensively.
