Freshmen drop 36-24 decision to PH

The Halifax County High School freshmen dropped a 36-24 decision to the PH rookies Thursday night.

PH started ice cold, scoring just two points in the first period. But the visitors warmed up, scoring 16 in the second period, six in the third, and 12 in the final period.

Halifax simply could not keep up. HCHS had seven points in the first period, six in the second, five in the third and six in the fourth. McGill led HCHS with eight points on the night.

Garrett chipped in with seven points.

Ferrell had five for HCHS, including a three-pointer in the third. Walker added four points.
