HCS minors back in action after tough Saturday

The Halifax County South minors were back in action Sunday at the Day Complex, playing an afternoon game.

HCS had a tough outing Saturday, losing to Halifax Crew, 12-2.

Jay Farmer pitched two innings, followed by Keon Tucker for two more. HCS had one run in the third and one in the fourth.

Dannon Garber and Keon Tucker had basehits for HCS.

Jacob Lyon walked, stole two bases, and scored on an RBI sacrifice fly from Farmer in the third inning.

Logan Clark walked, stole two bases and scored on a RBI from Tucker in the fourth.
