Jayvee boys easily handle Bassett / January 13, 2020
The Halifax County High School jayvee boys’ basketball team defeated Bassett, 47-6, in Piedmont Sistrict action Friday night.

Playing at Bassett, the Comets had no trouble. Halifax led 10-2 at the end of the first quarter and 24-4 at halftime.

Halifax had a productive third period, scoring 16 points.

Six Comets had offensive contributions in this period alone.

Dakii Chandler and Kequan Newton had eight points apiece for the Comets. Jordan Ross and A. Easley scored six apiece.
