Jayvee girls down Bassett 38-21

The Halifax County High School jayvee girls’ basketball team defeated Bassett, 38-21, Tuesday.

Halifax had 11 points from Savianna Bailey and eight from Alyssa Glassock.

The key proved to be a 13-0 run in the third period. Halifax had nine points in the first period, nine more in the second, and then the Comet girls erupted in the third.
