Jayvee girls end season with win / February 19, 2010
The season ended on a very positive note for the Halifax County High School jayvee girls’ basketball team Wednesday night.

HCHS, which has struggled this season, finished with a 34-14 win over PH-Roanoke on the road.

The JVs got started well, outscoring PH 12-2 in the first period. Halifax led 19-4 at the half and moved forward from there.

Halifax had a ten-point third period and led 31-8 at the end of the third.

Brianna Lindsey finished with seven points, all in the first three periods. Kendra Crews had six, including a 3-pointer in the third period.

Kaylan Redmond also drained a pair of 3s in the first period for the Comets.
