Jayvee girls fall to Bassett

SoVaNow.com / April 15, 2019
Halifax County High School jayvee girls soccer lost to Bassett, 3-1.

This was a close game, as Bassett outshot the Comets,14-10.

“We had a lot of great counter attacks that did result into goals but I believe this one we should have won. Katee Mitchell scored the lone goal after a scrum in front of Bassett goal. We now get a well deserved rest which will allow some injuries to heal and get us ready for our next six games remaining,” said coach Bertram Cuffley.
