The Comets posted two points in the opening period. Magna Vista wasn’t much better offensively scoring five.

The second period was more competitive for each team. Halifax outpaced Magna Vista 10-9 in the second and was down 14-12 at the break.

The Warriors scored 14 points in the third period. Halifax kept Magna Vista at the foul line in the closing period. The Warriors went five-of-18 from the stripe in the fourth.

Halifax finished out the game with a seven-point third and fourth in the loss.
