Jayvee girls struggle in 40-20 loss

The Halifax County High School jayvee girls’ basketball team fell to Patrick County, 40-20, in its regular season finale Wednesday.

PC had an impressive 18-point third period and easily defeated HC. PC had balanced scoring.

Halifax struggled this season.

The girls got seven points in the finale from Tynia Carrington and four from Kamyria Giggetts.

Halifax was inconsistent again, with two field goals and one free throw in the final period.
