Jayvee girls take down Campbell

The Halifax County High School jayvee girls basketball team defeated William Campbell, 47-26, in non-conference action on the road Friday.

The teams are set to meet tonight at Halifax.

HCHS started with a high-octane, 14-4 first quarter run and never looked back.

Halifax had good, balanced scoring in the win over William Campbell.

Nyjah Torian had nine points. Shadajah Davis added seven and Ghanija Gooden added 11.
