The Halifax County High School jayvee volleyball team defeated Park View on the road Monday, 2-0.

Halifax prevailed, 25-20 and 25-18.

Amanda Duffer led with 11 service points. Kirsten Wellons had five attacks and nine attempts.

Arissa Conner had 15 good sets and six assists. Ashlyn Strickland had 13 good sets and five assists.

Kylie Satterfield led with five digs.

In action Tuesday, the jayvees sailed to a 2-0 win over GW-Danville. No individual statistics were available.

On Thursday, Franklin County won a district match against Halifax, by a 2-0 score.

Franklin won the match, 25-13 and 25-18.

Madison Barnes led with eight points scored and Amanda Duffer had three. Barnes had 11 good serves and Duffer and Kristen Wellons four apiece. Barnes led with two aces.

Sarah Watts led with three kills and Arissa Conner had five assists.
