The Halifax County High School jayvee spikers fell to Tunstall Tuesday 25-18 and 25-13.

Coach Meg Bane said the Comets did not move well on the court. She pointed out that solid technical play might not be present all the time, but at least she expects hustle and solid effort.

“We didn’t have either one (technique or hustle) tonight,” said Bane.

Bane said passing was an area that needs improvement, and the girls did not move their feet properly.

Halifax is 4-2.

Madison Barnes led with 12 good serves, scoring nine points. Barnes had two kills, along with two for Bailey Bowen.

Arrissa Conner had 30 good sets.
