Jayvees drop Person County in volleyball / August 31, 2009
The HCHS jayvee volleyball team defeated Person County Tuesday night, taking two of three games.

The Comet jayvees won game one, 25-19, but the Rockets took game two, 25-21. HCHS rallied with a 25-20 win to clinch the match.

Cori Campbell led the Comets in service points with nine, while Kelsy Williams had seven and Kelsey White had five.

Kate Bane and Jennifer Lacks had three service points apiece.

Campbell led in aces with four and Jordan Miller added three.

K. Williams led with four kills.
