Lady Dragon booters fall to Bluestone girls

Three goals in the second half wasn’t enough as the Lady Dragons’ comeback attempt fell short in their loss to the Lady Barons of Bluestone High School Monday night at PVHS.

Trailing 5-2, the Lady Dragons got goals from Meredith Mosier in the 53rd minute, Isabel Cranford in the 67th minute and Kate Ignacio in the 79th minute to claw their way to within one before the final whistle sounded.

This is the second loss the Lady Dragons have suffered at the hands of the Lady Barons this season. With the loss, the Dragons fell to 6-5-1 overall and will next face Dinwiddie at PVHS on Wednesday (today) before beginning tournament play.

Lady Dragons shut out Nottoway on Senior Night

The Lady Dragons soccer team celebrated their senior members with a victory over the Lady Cougars of Nottoway High School on Friday night at PVHS field. The Dragons sent the Lady Cougars home with a 5-0 loss.
