Lady Lions improve to 14-1 / February 09, 2017
The Halifax County Middle School girls basketball team improved to 14-1, with one game left on the slate.

Halifax defeated Bonner easily on Monday night in Danville, 43-8.

Talitha Marable led the Lions with 10 points. Ella Morrison, Demeisha Canada and Lynia Reed scored nine points apiece.

Halifax finished with 20 field goals and went 3-for-14 from the foul line.

Halifax limited the opposition to eight points on free throws. Bonner did not connect on a field goal in the contest.

Halifax cruised to a 22-0 lead at the end of the first period and moved on to a lopsided win.
