Halifax County Middle School softball plowed through three opponents last week.

The Lions were 11-0 and headed to a no. 1 seed in the upcoming Junior Piedmont District tournament.

The Lions scored 18 runs against Fieldale-Collinsville in a shutout win under the mercy rule.

Halifax had a runaway 9-2 victory over Ben Franklin Middle. Halifax also pounded Laurel Park Thursday, 18-1.
